How about The Fountain? Looks suitably mindboggling. :)
I thought of it too, but it's gotten only lukewarm reviews so far, so I'm not sure.
The Last King of Scotland
-> my colleagues have seen it and they loved it. coming Jan 2007.

The Science of Sleep
-> reviews hv been so-so. Shaw is releasing sometime early next yr.

The Queen
-> we can watch it @ the bbq (u-know-what-i-mean).

Running with Scissors
-> very bad reviews tho' promising trailer & quirky cast. am skipping this.

Volver
-> we can watch this @ the bbq. saw half of it and got bored. pretty disappointing Almodovar.

The History Boys
-> colleagues hv seen it and say it's so-so. coming soon.

Little Children
-> colleagues and exhibitors liked it lots. coming in january.

Marie Antoinette
-> shaw is releasing this. looks like a mediocre film full of style.

The Good German
-> we're watching this next wk. verdict will be out soon.

Notes on a Scandal
-> we're watching this monday. word-of-mouth from regional ofc has been extremely positive.

Quinceañera
-> opening this thursday.

look out for Pan's Labyrinth (my fave film this yr) and Perfume too, which are to be released by Shaw.

colleagues found The Fountain too high-brow and didn't like it. Coming end Feb 2007.
Oh my God, you are... God.

Yeah, I forgot Perfume. Also, For Your Consideration, cos it has Ricky Gervais in it. I am so looking forward to this barbecue, where we not only will hear about your new career in film distribution, but also get to see you in... action :)

I'll be bringing mostly TV shows, though I also have Tsotsi, Good Night and Good Luck and The Lords of Dogtown (haha!). Anyone interested in any of these?

can we watch quinceanera? taking things one step at a time....
Yes of course. It's coming out soon, right? We can fix a date when we meet next week.
i wanna watch Tsotsi. Issit good?
I haven't watched it yet, I'll burn and bring for you.
